Locked?

This has been more than a month after I got it, however, I just can’t help to double check if it is locked, everytime after I went out of it.

After lunch, going for dinner, going back to Cyberia, I have locked it, just that I would forget that in less than one minute, and so, I have to check on it a few times a day to make sure it is safe.

It is not annoying, and I’m definitely not trying to show off, almost everyone around me has at least one. It just…can I say it is lovely? Maybe I haven’t bored with it yet. Wondering when I would start get used to/remember that, but I won’t forget this feeling.

I believe everyone would pass through this, or even went through, after all, it shows that, that is our precious car and we do care ‘bout it ^^.

2nd Sunway Visit

Last Saturday, my initial plan was going back to C.K. Yap to check on my VIOS’ spring, however, I got a call from Mr Yap to postpone it as the technician will be on leave on that day, end up, I went out with Soo Beng and Kong Siang to Sunway Piramid, this is my second time there, and first time driving there :P

We went for lunch in a korean restaurant (right beside Sushigroove) and we had ourselves Set B (for 3 or 4 people). In the set, we had a big pot of soup, another ginsheng soup with chicken, big plate of Korean BBQ chicken, some some dishes (mostly vege). It was just too full (wondering how can my stomach afford that) after the lunch, and Soo Beng and I had to go for movie, holding big stomach and sitting in the cinema for show is really not a good idea, somemore the show was not that nice at all (we’re watching Chun Li).

3 weeks before CNY, one of my friends asked me, "Now you have a new handphone, next would be a new car?". Around 3 weeks after CNY, I have owned a car...

Wake up early, I can’t really fall sleep since 6 something in the morning, got up and prepared myself for going out. It was too early when I reached Bandar Tasik Selatan LRT station, was that I couldn’t wait to get it?

Kah Fei showed himself at 9.27, 3 minutes earlier than he promised, and we reached C.K.Yap. After spent some time checking the car and signed N documents, and finished the signing job before my signature went totally out of shape.

Following Kah Fei, I drove to Genting Klang, taking MRR2 highway, and reach SKY for brunch, Hakka Mee, I really missed it…When should I come down again for Pan Mee?

After the meal, I drove back to Cyberjaya alone, after taking a long journey (if not mistaken, around 80KM) I finally reach Cyberjaya, take some time to practice on the parking skill at Cyber Park and basement B1 under Wisma 4, I went back to Cyberia.

The following day, I went to Serdang for lunch and after that drove to Times Square, guided by Seaw Wei and Kong Siang (wondering if Soo Beng scared of my driving…). Along the journey, they seem got shocked like Soo Beng did. I think I need to be more patient…

My wishes...

It is now come to end of 2008, and 2009 is just outside my doorstep. And I swear this will be the last new year eve that I'll stay alone at home, without alcohols company.

What would I expect in 2009?

Friendship is always be one of the most important elements in my life. I always think that I'm not a good person, and I really happy I have friends, and trust me, I cherish these relationships very much, maybe not in a way that everyone like. People may curious why I am so crazy over Ayumi. Well her lyrics contribute a lot! There is a song of hers titled "TO BE" with part of its lyrics sound like:

Everyone passes through. I don't keep them in mind either. It can't be helped.
You've been carrying that junk as if it's important.
People saw you from a distance and thought you were strange.
Even so you laughed and said to me "this is treasure."

I was amazed when I read the translation, that is exactly what I think about my friends (even though the song for not really for friendship but I think it applied). I am the rubbish, and maybe people do not treat me as something wonderful but I'm glad to have them as my friends. Thanks guys!

I believe I have survived my career in 2008, and I'm looking forward to fulfill my skillset in 2009, learning new knowledge, new skills, that keep myself more valuable and keep surviving forever!

And also, I'm getting my car soon, most probably after CNY, and I really hope everything will be fine, as my driving really sucks! So guys, you maybe need to think twice before get on my car :P

I have never watched Ayumi's live performance, so I wish I could have a chance to join her concert, I wish all the best for her (especially health aspect, her left ear hearing has not fully recovered, yet she hurt her arm few days ago) and looking forward to watch her concert!

Last but not least, I wish there will be some encounters, no, one encounter is more than enough, so that my life would be more meaningful...

PS: I hope I can finish reading the 3rd book of Twilight saga, Eclipse tonight, it has around 100 pages left and Bella has just said yes for Edward's propose! ^^

When would you reveal yourself?

It's raining outside, heavily, and people starts to get themselves covered with black, thick jackets. Just back from short tea time, and the recent popular topics will always car and career. Looking at the heavy rain outside, the first idea in my mind is how am I going to go back? "No need lah, earning OT while I still can!" This is how I tell everyone in smiling face, but I do not have an answer for that. Bus? I still get wet. Tumpang? Don't really like it. So? Better if I stay in office and earn OT (but I don't think I'm going to claim 10 hours for today).

Yes, I'm going to get a car soon, after CNY, as I heard it will be cheaper at the time. And for me, right after CNY I'll get one, I can't wait for it. I am a bad driver, and I always try my best not to have myself driving, which make it worse, and I started to understand: When one grows, every single decision he/she made will bring consequences.

And when I started my working life, I realised that I can't escape this. Sooner or later I will need to get a car, I need to know about car, and I need to drive. I started to get some info about car, but lazy as I do, I didn't check online on cars, or any reading materials, I learned from what I heard. And even so, I know how hard it is when you have a car.

I'm not rich, and I do not want to depends on my rich uncles/aunts, and I do not like to have my parents' support on this. Either self-esteem or whatever it called, I just do not like it. Since the first day I started working, I never take a cent from my parents (please lah, forget about ang pow), and I hope this situation will going on...

Few months ago, I started to think, what cars I like and I can afford. No doubt that, I have given up protons long time ago. Perodua? Yes, MyVi will be the first option for my current status. City? VIOS? Can I afford them? Yes I believe I can afford installment, but for the road tax and insurance? And also for a bad driver like me, where should I get money to fix those holes and scratches?

Well, I still put hope on VIOS, but it rely on the news that I expect to hear from my boss recently.
