Twilight E-Book

I have been looking for this for long long time.

I've read the English version of Twilight, and I always want to read the Chinese version, maybe it's because it's easier for me to revise the story.

And I finally found one from this kind people that has shared PDF version of Chinese version here: http://good.gd/182590.htm. There are plenty of TXT format on the Net but seldom you can find one without the need of registration and deduction of points.

Goodbye Godric

Fans of fangs, are you sad of Godric's death?

You may notice that I talked bout this HBO series "True Blood", and now we have it released up to the 10th episode. I watched 3 episodes: 7th, 8th, and 9th together last weekend, and it was really really touching.

In the 9th episode "I Will Rise Up", Godric, the maker of Eric Northman who noticed how and why human hates vampire, tried to offer himself for sacrifice to fix the conflict. However, his plan failed, he took the blame and committed suicide. Sorry for my poor vocabulary, but the part he commit suicide is touching, I almost cried, I held it, yet it still affected my all-day emotion (1/2 day actually, I watched it in the afternoon) after watched.

New Moon - Official HQ Trailer

Hello! For all vamp fans all over the world, the second shoot of Twilight saga, New Moon has come out with its trailer.

I believe there will be a bit disappointment for Cullens fans, as most of the story are focus on Taylor! Well, I should not tell much, for those have read, they know the story; for those haven't, haha, go get a book, or wait for the movie!

My Twilight collection

It had been few weeks ago, but I would like to share this with everyone.

Well, I have collected 4 books in Twilight saga, and I believe the 5th book is around the corner.

Bought them in the MPH warehouse sales, thanks to Seaw Wei for his help ^^

Are you ready for another bite?

As you might noticed, a brand new season of "True Blood" is going to release, at 14 June.

We have many things in common in “True Blood” with other vamp stories, first, the sunlight brings negative impact to those fangs; second, blood is their power; third, normally they are gorgeous; forth, normally there will be an heroin that the fangs are attracted, no matter the blood flows in her body, or the special ability that she posses; and etc.

However, there is something special in this story that I could not find in others…I bet I have not really learned vamp enough…in “True Blood”, the fangs race stand out for their right, to have same life as human do! Japanese releases a product, something like fake blood, named “true blood”, for the fangs as their daily source, so that fangs do not need to kill for blood. Undoubtly, some people, especially those from various religions, against on it, hardly accept blood sucker as their neighbor.

In season 1, Bill Compton, our handsome (but looks a bit old, maybe he was turned in the late age) came his hometown, a village called Louisiana, and met Sookie Stackhouse, who has the ability to fail all the fangs skill like enchanting that falls on her, like Bella Swan in Twilight saga. Later, people in the small village were killed and Swan became the next target when she was found dating Bill. With the help from Bill and her employer, Sam Merlotte, she managed to save herself, and found the murderer. However, not every story ends well, in order to help Sookie, Bill was punished as he hurt his own race which result in the arrival of an immature vampire named Jessica. And the season ended with the death of the cook in Sam’s cafe, Lafayette Reynolds, likely.

VAMPs Fever!!!

It looks like to be our nature that people will always curious on mysterious, for instances, aliens, supernatural creatures...And hence they are always the best topic to be published/produced.

On 21 November 2008, a story, which origins from a romance series, has put on the big screen, and unmask people fascination on one of the most popular supernatural creature, the vampire, and bring over the vampire fever as a consequence.

Well, I myself like vampire a lot, compared to other fairy tale creature, maybe because of vampire is the most humanlike, maybe of their secrecy, maybe of their gorgious, may of their immortality, or maybe because I am tired to be an ordinary human?

Our common sense reminds us that vampires are a bloodsucker, they are always great in luring people, they are fast and strong, they will be hurt by sunlight, or perhaps by wood or silver. And they are always closely related to sex, which might be one of the way we pay (with our blood) for the "excitement" we gained together with them, and I believe this point might be at the top of the list why people want to be turned, as well as stay young and immortal.

I grabbed one of the video clips from youtube and I was amazed by the fever that Stephenie Meyer has brought, and there are few more in youtube!

Movies & Reading weekend (II)

Most of my friends know that I love novel reading, especially online reading, thanks to Harry Potter. I love to read since my childhood, and after I read Harry Potter, the 1st episode, I, eagerly, went online and look for some book, as my hometown Jementah, has limited of book stocks, and I had read those I interested, some even a few times.

I found my first online novel from http://www.cmfu.com/ (now has changed to http://www.qidian.com/), it is titled as "魔法学徒 (The Apprentice - self translated :P)". It was a nice story, and I could hardly found any better fantasy novel.

Then I found another novel, titled "眠月魔情录 (exceed my poor vocabulary to translate this), it is a historical/war story, the hero is good in strategy, he is a well planner, on politic, as well as war strategy. I have addicted in online reading since my form 4 and insisted till today. And they are all in chinese.

The movie Twilight, has given me a strong idea that, I should get the book, in English, and start my reading in English.

I googled it, downloaded, installed Acrobat Reader, and also Kingsoft Dictionary, and I started the reading after my Sunday lunch, by the way, for those who might concern, I did have breads for breakfast but I had had a balance-nutrient lunch, with rice, vege and meat. And I couldn't stop reading until the moment I got on to my bed.

The author handled the story very well, and in detailed. I can picture out the story clearly from the lines, well it might be because I watched the movie, but people have to admit, those people in the movie does not express the emotion as written in the book, maybe the script for the movie is different, also, the story has a bit different as well, I have not yet finished it, but I know, I would continue on the others (there are 4 of them in the series).

Movies & Reading weekend (I)

Went out last Saturday, first went to Genting Klang, for my favourite Hakka Mee, where I received call from jason while I was in the Star train heading to Wangsa maju. After my breakfast, I went to Pavilion for movie, and luckily I was able to be there and catched 12PM Twilight.

I bought two tickets, one for Twilight and another for The Day The Earth Stood Still. It was 11.35 AM and I still have time to have a short walk to the shops around. And unfortunately (or fortunately?) I found a nice tee, which cost me around 80, and cost me extra for the weekend. Ahh! Why I am so lucky to be able to get one in that short time (in 10 minutes)!

Well, right after the purchase, I went into a few shops, before I step into Hall 11 for Twilight, It is a small hall. And thing seem to be wronged when the seats started to be fulfilled. My left (my seat number is 2) was a otakulike guy, sitting quietly there, my back was full with couples and girls, so do with the remaining audiences, aren't this should be a horror vampire story? Guys should love those red-blooded stuff, isn't it? However, it just give me a strong view that, this show is for 3G: girls, girlish (those might be too aged but still hold girlish thought or those with opposite sex that think in a way a girl would) and gay (no further study on this kind).

The show soon begun before my thought scared me any further.

Hmm...the story is good, with some humors in it, makes the story interesting, even without obvious climax, it do have one, at least, just everything has been made in the soft way, some might find it boring, but for me, it is quite facinating in parts of the show.

Well, The Day The Earth Stood Still is quite different. Tight scences has attracted and leaded its audience, however, the plot is not as good as Twilight. I was actually looking forward for an action movie, as Keanu Reeves had performed well in Speed series and Matrix series, however, this is a standard science fiction, which related to the human affect on the ecosystem and the earth.

Both of the shows are good to watch, but not recommended to spent for them. No offense to all the related or interested people to them, but watching downloaded version is good enough.
